Registration Information

Please select the appropriate registration form based on your age.

To register for a class, all potential students need one government-issued ID (U.S. or foreign passport, driver's license, or local government-issued ID card). Students older than 22 need a credit card and two references. Youth residing in Massachusetts are entitled to take any class completely free. Out-of-state youth aged 16-22 may submit a fee waiver application.

CompTIA A+ is the industry's leading standard certification that paves the way for a successful IT career. CompTIA A+ certified professionals solve business problems by supporting core technologies ranging from PC and network maintenance to troubleshooting and securing technology assets, cloud computing, and big data management.

Program Requirements

Mattapan Tech's Computer and Network Technical Support Specialist/CompTIA A+ students must complete two mandatory courses:

  1. Computer and Network Hardware Technology – CompTIA A+ Core 1, 220-1101
  2. Computer and Network Software Technology – CompTIA A+ Core 2, 220-1102

We also prepare our students to take the CompTIA A+ certification exams. These courses can be taken in any order or simultaneously.

Cisco Certified Technicians have the skills necessary to install, maintain, diagnose, restore, and repair major Cisco networking components and system devices at large enterprises and small business sites. They are authorized to work in collaboration with the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to provide quick and efficient technical support.
